I agree; find a used auger & remodel it to yuor needs. I used the original metal tube & put a brush in it. The brush I used wore out very fast & beans would get caught it the bristles (could cause a contamination issue). I was frustrated w/ the cost of another brush so I put a 5" steel flitting in the 6" tube to finish the season & it worked so good it is still in there ( 15-20 yrs ago)
How would you build an auger like this?
