It has been awhile, but if I remeber correctly I did this to replace rock trap bearings so only had to get at the back of the feederhouse. It was on a 2166 so not as heavy as a John Deere. Need another person to help line it back up. Also used corn head so was heavy enough to hold it. Worked allright but have a forklift now so would probably go that route now.
