Subject: Re: Ag fuel in a diesel pickup?

Huntington, IN
I have a buddy that burns purple fuel religiously. The other day he had to take his dirtymax back in for some kind of warranty work. The mechanic was luckily a good friend and unhooked a sensor that could tell there was dye in the fuel. He told him that over time the sensor would go bad because of the dye and cause the truck not to run. He also said by rights he should turn him but wouldn't that time. He did warn that the next time the fuel better be clear because he could loose his job for not reporting it.
