Actually the mileage is better than my other trucks with the 5.4 triton. Getting around 19-20 down the interstate and 15-16 just puttering around the farm. The only problem is the $.60 difference in fuel cost. What happened to the days when diesel was $.50 cheaper than gas??? I agree with the pulling more than it should statement. This truck is the first real work horse pick up around our farm and it's amazing what I can pull with it. The most impressed I have been with it is pulling a 24'x7x8 4-Star aluminum cattle trailer with 10 big bred cows in it through the hills of southwestern Ohio. There was never a loss of power, just wish there was another spring or two with 2 more wheels on the back axle.
