Subject: First impressions - Clarke Machine Rolls

Kingston, Iowa
We replaced our JD knife rolls with those from Clark Machine. Harvesting corn that still has a little life left in the stalk, but they seem to be doing a good job. One thing I noticed right away that at higher speeds your not pushing corn. The design allows the corn to engage further up in the roller. Even at 6.5 mph the stalks were more or less being pulled straight down. Time will tell when we get into corn with dryer stalks if they work as well. They were $82 bucks a row cheaper than JD.

I stole Jim @ Dawns hat trick for scale
