Subject: RE: Make a head mover

I have a boughten 25' flex head mover. I also have a homemade running gear 6RN cornhead mover. I wouldnt have another homemade running gear head mover for free. The wheels are too tall and I can barely et the head over it without digging holes for all the wheels to set in. IF you acciedently push it a few inches, no holes. Then going down the road, the head bounces 'up'(unbeliveable but true), bounces down on the wheels. Always somewhere. it just wont stay setting where it belongs. And I have NO idea how to change it. It takes chaining fore and aft to even keep it reasonably in place. As heavy as this is, cant believe it can walk so much and fast.

IF anybody has ANY ideas as to mods that would make this thing behave, bring them on!!! As to making one, dont even start UNLESS you start with the baby size wheels and tires. Otherwise it is mostly too tall to work well!!
