East Palestine, Ohio (Columbiana Co.) | When does buckwheat come off? How's it looking yeild wise?
Put some double -crop beans out 7/28 to see how planter would work with bean meters. Pods are just starting to fill........temp is reading 31 degrees right now on back porch, I imagine '06 summer crop season is nearing the offical end "here". Might need to get the drill set-up with tracks to finish getting wheat out. Got another 1'' plus of dust control Wed. night.
Crop ins. planting deadline is 10/25.......should keep it interesting~(!
