We use a 1650 in corn stalks planting wheat. Do you have the problem with the corn stalks hitting the depth adj and raising the adj setting? Once this happens the down pressure on the unit forces it to go deeper. Result is several units running deeper than normal so one has to keep checking all the time. Down pressure on the hydraulics is less than 500#. Thanks
