Near-north Ontario, French River
Ok heres my guess. On my T800 the switches are wired bass ackwards. Normally,in most trucks, the wire feeding the switch would be hot, however I beleive in kenworths the wire going into the switch is a ground,( when you turn on the switch it completes the ground and thus the lights come on ) if there is a second "live" wire it is used to power the 'light' on the the dash that illuminates the switch. Im thinkin what you did was disconnect the ground wire to the switch and hooked the next switch at the live terminal. If this is the case what youve done is taken the live feed for the dash light, and 'rerouted' it to feed your clearence lights. If that made any sense at all LOL.. Its easier to understand with the dash in front of you , Im just struggling to explain it LOL
