I'd be surprised if you could buy it that cheap. It usually follows the wheat price and it's closer to $5.25 on the CBOT.

You're probably too late for this year, but I can usually buy Rye in the summer out of the Muscatine area. They plant it in the pivot corners just for cover and a little income. I can get you some phone numbers if you are still looking.
