As I understand it, if AGCO wanted to have a CVT in the MT 700 and 800 it would have to be authorized by CAT and be a CAT CVT. The MT Challenger powertrain and drivetrain interface is completely unique to the Challenger track tractor design.
Is it possible to have a CVT on a tracked tractor?
