You may not call it "research" but our own checks over a multiyear period shows that for us ripping bean stubble gives us a 6-7 bpa yield increase in corn the next year. That may not be significant to you but we are satisified that it works for us.

As an old friend use to say "My ground, my equipment, my money, I'll do what I want". BTW, lot's of no-till soybeans here, even most of ours are, but yiu will have to look a long ways to find any no-till corn. Oops, should have said "a significan acreage" of no-till corn as we do have about 10 acres as a trial.

Nice pics Ontrack. I enjoy seeing & hearing how things are done in other parts of the world. Even had a young man spend some time with us in the combine last year from Malliwa (sp?) whose parents farmes with oxen. We are good talk about thhe differences in farming practices.
