We've ran our 75C briefly with a straight pipe on a couple occasions due to the annual muffler failure falling on weekends and holidays, and let's just say that in addition to leaving your ears rinning for a day or two, it gives you a very healthy respect for the old Steiger Safari cabs which managed competitive sound levels with straight pipes.
