First off what do you mean by older???? Is it a frost free or older than that? The biggest reason most have a water problems, is the door seal is bad. The thing runs most of the time and the condensation turns to frost on the cooling coil and then melts. Could also be the little fan that evaporates the water out of the pan or an obstruction so it isn't working properly.
