Subject: there are a lot of other factors in play

If you have a good man on the cart that's partially true, but I don't care who you are if you want to really fill a large wagon you can't do it from the tractor. You can get it somewhat full, but if you intend to be over the bows front to back there is only one person who can see it without a video camera like Ron has.

We also have to put up with my 83 ear old Dad on the cart sometimes and with him the combine man tells him what speed to drive and it makes life simpler on everyone.

The way we work it if we have someone who knows what he's doing he will load the cart to within the last 100 bushel or partial bin full then either he will tell the combine operator on the 2 way that "it's yours," meaning it's up to him to move where he needs to be to finish it up or the combine man will tell him that he's got it now and the cart operator just stays the speed he has been running.

A lot will depend on the trucks, if they are getting back you don't have to worry about it, if they are running nip and tuck then they try to get the wagon full enough to get a legal load without having to go back for more.

With the high speed unloads on combines now days there is a lot of grain coming in a hurry.
