| We did hang 6 weights back on the front end and that helped it turn better, but it has handled it fine all fall. If it was avaiable we'd probably use the 8430, but Charlie's had it on the 13 yard scraper building ponds all fall while we were combining.
One thing I really don't like about the 30 series though is the computer takes too long to control the shifting. I remember our 00 series and how you could quickly shift up or down if you got in a pinch somewhere, with these you can bunp the lever as many times as you want, but it will probably only shift once and then you'll be around a corner or pulling out on a road or something else and it will continue to shift 15 seconds after you have finished moving the lever. I'm sure some engineer thought it would be better to let a computer control it, but there are times when I shift the lever that I want it to shift the transmission right then, not after it's thought the whole process through. | |
