Subject: RE: Refridgerator leaking water?

The local radio station sometimes has an applicance repairman on it's call-in show and this topic comes up again and again.

Frost free fridge has a drip pan underneath where water collects, and evaporated away by the heat of the compressor or an electric element. The drain tube to the pan has clogged up and overflowed due to ice or food crumbs. Disconnect and flush out tube with hot water and compressed air.
