I don't know about that, seeing that my experience bank took a ten year detour through Discovator land, but I can say that so far we are happy with our 9800 Landoll.  

In older stuff, you may have to resort to chisels with sweeps unless you are willing to get into the 985 era where DMI and Sunflower had tools which would go through stuff pretty well.
