Fruita CO | Back in the day, when everybody raised beets here, we didn't have this problem. Beets went away, & everybody set 'em on 30" centers & left 'em...a few years of alkali, cow sh*t, & silage, & things got a lot harder. Local welder has a pipe that sorta circulates around the valley, similar to the setup shown in the post below. Tabs welded on & 3 pieces of grade 8 all-thread to use as puller screws.
