Near-north Ontario, French River | Inever seen one working in the field but had a good look at a YP planter at the outdoor farm snow here in Ontario. Looks like a solid built unit . The unit they had at the show was 24 row, twin rows on 30 in centers,(30ft wide). Company rep felt they were pretty much approaching the limit on the tool bar they were using, but he thought they were working on a heavier( possilbly redesigned?) bar that would allow them to go much wider. From what I seen on the planter, I wouldnt be afraid to try one if I was in the market for a unit of that scale. |
