Subject: RE: CVX/TVT in North America

Alberta, Canada
j.p - 10/16/2006 21:12I've heard several thoughts on why these tractors aren't sold in North America, patent laws, wheel spacings, marketing reasons, etc. I'd think they would be a very attractive tractor for many, I know I'd really consider one for here on our home farm.

JP, but it would still be possible to own one here right? To import it? I'm just thinking of Terra3104 (Jared?) who brought the first Xerion to Canada, and to North America a few month's ago, and those few guys over in Europe with bidirectionals.

It's just, we're humming and hawing over a new tractor, and the options look like...

TS135A
TM175
2145 (Buhler Genesis)

We're really interested in the TVT series, but as you said, not available in North America. However, on cleanfix.ca there was an artical on a TVT tractor - in Canada! Just wish we could try one, and wish I could see more with loaders.
