Your posting is bang on, and puts the slick spots in perspective.
I worry about the recommendation to apply lots of manure, particularly feedlot manure. The organic matter can help to stabilize the soil structure somewhat, but a lot of feedlot manures are very high in salt, so they help on one hand and hurt on the other!
Fertilizerguy- pH levels?
