Subject: Trading MFWD for a 4-Wheel Drive

South-central Nebraska
I heard of this happening a few places where guys have traded their large front wheel assists for row-crop four wheel drives. The row crop 4 wheel drives have been cheaper to purchase than a large row crop MFWD. For those that have done this are you happy with your decision? I would be no-till row crop in 30 inch rows. I've never driven a 4 wheel drive so I don't know how versatile they even are. It would pull a planter, ferilizer coulter machine and grain cart with it, possibly a sprayer. I'm wondering if the price savings is worth the inconvenience if there is any.
