WinkAbsolutly no negative veiws on SD from my perspective.   My apologies if there was any unintended negative words thrown out on my part.  Dang words!

Was basically trying to state that climates are different.   Am sure your soils are just as good or maybe better than ours...........Im willing to bet it takes different management styles to make things work.

I could make no-till work here...........I could have also made my first marriage work...... though............ not sure wich one of us would have killed each other first.

Fact is we no-tilled some soys this year.   Turned out purty dang good, but our tilled ground after expenses ............. paid with far less headaches.   Burn down vs. feild cultivator break even here.  

Will also state that for the soil, no-till is the best.  Just not for my life expectancy and this year, pocketbook.
