Subject: edrive

I would say that John sounds like he is the more up to date person on outbacks new equipment. I know that a few of my neighbors have upgraded to the s2 and the edrive. None of them however are using them to plant row crop with, but I have no knowledge at all on the new baseline setup other than what I have seen in brochures. Seems like it would be a good system. In years past I have run some of the other styles of lightbars on neighbors equipment, and if a person is going to do it manually, then I have seen no other system even compare to the outback for ease of operation. JD autosteer went out drilling wheat this year and had to drill 200 acres using parallel tracking. WOW, I would not wish that on my worst enemy, but then again I am used to outback, so it may not be so bad. I sure can't see any possibility though that it could be as user friendly as the outback.
