Gresham, Nebraska | Just had a conversation with my crop scout. Turns out the "Monsanto Police" are working in the area, have "worked over" 47 different individuals for planting saved seed. The guys of course deny it, and then the MP's show them satellite photos as evidence. My scout saw some of the photos - the farmer going from bin to planter to bin to planter.......then there are not enough seed purchasing invoices to cover acres planted, etc. Jail time, a hefty fine, and having to plant Monsanto only products for the next 3-4 years.
Yep, honesty and integrity are definitely worth it. Stay the course. | |
