We ran it until 2003 and put 7650 hours on it and it never really broke. Probably one of the most reliable tractors we ever had. We had the highest houred and most reliable 60 series at the dealership at the time. At about 5000 hours you will need new potentiometers in the transmission but that is a simple job and is done from the outside. Other than that regular maintenance should do the trick. Beautiful tractor to operate, much nicer to drive than a JD 7010. Some of the Deeroids we employed would rather use the 8160 than the JD 7210!
As Josh said, the front axle is not meant for loader work. Stay away from it if it had a loader.
