SCPA | Well we are running right at 50% of normal. The heat during pollination followed by the extremely dry August really worked us over. Most of the full conventional tillage corn down here has been "zeroed out" by insurance companies. My best so far has been about 120 bpa, and that is a major disappointment. We did take the plot off, but I do NOT as yet have an MS Word document that is ready to "ship". I will say this, the highest yield was a
"chopper corn" that I had in planter and we just decided to throw it in to make a second hybrid from that company.
Here are a couple, read'em and puke
Pioneer 33A87 25.8% moisture 75.2 bpa
Pioneer 33N11 25.3% moisture 72.5 bpa
Bird B58CL 21.5% moisture 82.9 bpa
You know things are bad when those numbers are coming up from those companies.
