You might look at the University of Mo Extension Oct. 99. issue. Try http://extension.missouri.edu/agconnection/newsletters/is-99-10.htm

Milo leaves are from 6-13 protein. The stalks are 3.3-3.9

Need to be aware of prussic acid in suckers. They recommend waiting 7 days after a hard freeze.

We baled some this year for the first time in maybe 10 years. We cut it with a disc mower-conditioner. It still took 3 to 4 days of warm sunshine to cure. I baled a little late one evening and produced a few bales that smelled like silage. Those were fed right away. The rest are in the barn. We got about 5 bales to the acre.

Hope this helps some.
