We have a 21ft 490. Does a very good job and we only gave $1000 for it two years ago. Blades are still in good shape. You do have to watch the wing rock shafts and grease the piss out of them. It'd be nice if there was a way to keep the grease from leaving that area so quick usually grease mine twice a day. Hate running disks but use mine primarily in wheat stubble or ruts. Had a 220 JD before the 490 came along, talk about a 1 wing peice of crap. For the money, you can't get a better disk than a 490/496.
