Very interesting! We used to have a Fox self-propelled chopper that we would set up to a silo for high moisture ear corn. We had to put a hopper on the front and add a recutter screen in behind the cutterhead to "grind" the corn. We then coupled the silo pipe directly to the chopper's blower. It was a lot of work to set it up and it was slow. We then bought a "Wetmore" grinder blower and now have a "Farmhand" grinder blower.

I have considered putting a snapper head on our NH FX25, but I usually pull the processor out after we are done with corn silage so that we can do more haylage.
