Arco MN | It seems they all have some issues.
the 01-04 (LB7) had a few injector problems but they are all covered now for 7 years or 200,000 miles.
the 04.5 to 06 (LLY) sometimes have some overheating issues during heavy towing in hot weather.
the 06 (LBZ) is new enough that it isn't well known yet but it has the 6spd Auto.
I have an 01 GMC CC Duramax and have had only a few minor issues that I have fixed my self and none have been engine related. I did had a secondary fuel filter to it that I think helps alot. It uses a 2 micron cat filter and has saved me once at least when I picked up some bad fuel last winter. I have over 84000 on it now and still running great. | |
