Subject: RE: Just lay-man term question.

It made a Crop
So is the IVT design base on "Power Shift" design? Just taking it to another level?

On another note. Didn't the Ford model "T" have a (for of a better term) Power Shift in it? Didn't it have foot pedals for gear selection?

I only ask this to show that power shift design has been around longer than some might think. It's always interesting to read R&D idea's. It doesn't matter which company it is.

Kind of like the Ford SOS. Ford didn't want to take the design any farther. So one or more of the design team went over to JD.
It takes a combination things to get Idea to work. Ideas, Smart thinker, hard work, MONEY, and a company that believes in idea enough in the idea to support it. There more I'm sure.

Sorry I'll quit rumbling now.
