Hello Dutch,

that was shure enough in your NL days, or? This models are thought after.
Eicher was build down south in Germany in Bavaria.
Wickipedia has nice photo's of the tractors at: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eicher
Here a quote from the India Eicher company: Thus was incorporated the Eicher Tractor Corporation of India Private Ltd. on April 24, 1959, a company formed in technical collaboration with the reputed Gebr. Eicher of Germany. This was a very critical phase in the company history, since the idea was not only to come out with Eicher’s first tractor, but India’s very first tractor. The consistent efforts of Eicher towards indigenous manufacture of tractors was rewarded on the 3rd day of September, 1960, when Eicher rolled out India’s first indigenously built tractor from its Faridabad factory.

I can't find any info if they still do the Eicher tractor. They had a very unique motor with air cooling but each zylinder had a indivudual fan.
The company was known for it's new solutions and inginuity.
