southern MN | Are you loading the videos onto the iPad, or trying to watch them through a card reader or wirelessly? Generally a modern iPad can keep up playing the native files from memory, esp 1080 videos for sure? But wireless or card readers often do not keep up.
Windows software gets into all sorts of a funk about codec, which I think means even tho the files are supposed to be the same format, they are not and need one of 100 different possible versions of software to decide the file? This way you get to buy 10 different bits of software or buy a very speedy one to actually see anything?
2k and 4K video taxes any system. I've found if you take some 2k video, download to a PC, and then move to the iPad the iPad couldn't play it. But taken directly from the camera card to the iPad, the iPad could play the original file......
