In cotton over 800 lbs, 2nd will string and drop to much. And 800 lb cotton won't pay for 9996s. I figured that they geared 2nd higher to keep us in 1st while picking. Not much cotton scrapped here anymore. We pick with the scrapping plates in and give our defoliant and boll opener time and scrap with the Alloway.
