Subject: RE: To hexx with Ford

I have had no problems with my 06 f250 with the 6.0. 42000 miles of crop scouting in one year... and I ABUSE a truck more than use one. Only problem was with the fuel guage sending unit and they replaced it without an issue. Why would you want the 6.4 the first year it comes out.... makes no sense, to me, to PAY to do Fords beta , real world testing for them .......

and I ORDERED my SD with manual hubs and a manual transfer case .......... less to go wrong, have heard too many people have problems with the auto junk at about 50k miles. My last truck was a 99 f-150 and the only problem I had before I sold it at 245,000 miles was the transfer case and hubs went south at ~200k, in my opinion beacause they were auto matic.... could here the actuator grinding the gears trying to put it in 4wd. With manual I can be a little more gentle seeing as my brain is a little better wired than their actuator.
