NE SD | Pokey, we actually prefer our carts to have quite a bit of transfer to the tractor drawbar. I would think the same would apply for tracks.....if you're running a tractor with very light footprint like we do, without transferring a good amount of weight, the tractor may actually "spin out". I don't know exactly how many pounds it is, but our 1075 J&M which holds 1000 bushels very easily actually bent the drawbar on our 7810 JD when we still had it. Twas the same size drawbar as you'd see on a 4440-4450 etc. Thus the reason the 8220 has the monstrous HD drawbar. | |
