SW Ontario | Does anybody get the high wear package??
If not, why?
Yes John Deere should maybe make this standard.
I'll tell you though, with the high wear package, you get some steel, that is for sure. For instance, the bin augers look to be twice as thick (3-4 times the wear). There is also alot of stainless in this package. From my experience, I'd say I will be a long time wearing some of this stuff out compared to the standard equipment.
BTW, all the 10 hour grease fittings on our 05 9760 are now 50 hour. The driven variable speed header drive and the rear steering axle specifically. I grease these everyday, you can't over grease a bushing. | |
