That’s a good idea, Adrian. I hadn’t thought of using a regulator on the output line. What I did to my compressor many years ago was reduce the cut in and cut out pressures to what I needed which reduced power consumption and should extend the life of both the compressor pump and motor. The downside is I have to do some adjusting if I need pressures higher than I have set the compressor to produce. That has happened only a couple of times.
