Sask. | garyl - 12/16/2016 04:46 ringo is correct in his comments, but those will be the things you will be asked about if you call tech support. one other thing, in the early Phantom days people would claim that compass cal was necessary when you changed your flying location even a few miles. With the newer products I think that has backed of to a few 100 miles, point being if you get a good cal and the bird is happy I would leave it be.
This Autel is new out of the box and never flown so they recommend , in fact demand, compass calibration right on the star link app. The lights won't blink the right colours or allow motor startup until calibration is complete. Unless I go out of beginner mode. But do I really want to make my first flight by the seat of my pants and crash? I'll try another calibration. And watch a few more how to videos while I wait for the weather to warm up. |
