Boone, Iowa | Yes, RTC is return to cut when using header height control on cornhead. I was running back and forth between corn and beans this year and did not get mine switch to HT when back on beans. I fought header control problems until I figured out I was on the wrong setting. You did not state what model combine you are using, but on our 2188, it also helped to recalibrate the computer. This is found at the front of the owners manual and can do with the head off and over a ditch, so the feederhouse can drop all the way.
