Macon, IL | Let me play devils advocate on tire rotations. If a rotation cost $15 and you rotate every 5,000 then that is 12 rotations over 60k miles. That cost is $180 over life of tires-or $45 per tire. So if you don't rotate and they last quite as long then aren't you in the same money or money ahead by not doing rotations?
I personally don't do it-but I do get them rotated at 10k instead of 5. Someone told me that recently and it was something I never really thought of-but seems to make some sense as long as your tires don't get too out of whack. | |
