Subject: test plot results-corn and beans

nw pa
just rec. the results from the weigh wagon guy. This area was hit hard by late frost and way to much water. Test plot was not as good as last year but considering everything we were satisfied.

DKC 41-64 ------------------------------------ 159.00---------POOR STANDING
36B08 PIONEER-----------------------------153.7------------GOOD''''''''''''''
DKC51-45--------------------------------------167.6-----------GOOD'''''''''''
DKC51-39--------------------------------------165.9-----------GOOD''''''''''
36B08------------------------------------------169.70---------GOOD'''''''''''
N35-R7--POOR STAND-FROST-----------142.8-----------GOOD'''''''''''
NK45A6---------------------------------------167.40---------GOOD''''''''''
38A25 PIONEER----------------------------169.0 ----------GOOD'''''''''''''
DKC48-53------------------------------------148.90---------POOR'''''''''''''''

ALL CORN PLANTED AT 31000. ON BEAN GROUND WITH 160-90-60-
MOISTURE WAS FROM 22 TO 24 PERCENT.

BEAN PLOT

DIDN'T HAVE MANY NUMBERS OUT THIS YEAR SINCE THE DEALERS WERE TO CHEAP TO BRING MUCH.

GARST 2018-------------------------------------------------82.9
MYCOGEN ATLAS-----------------------------------------------72.5
NK 24 K4----------------------------------------------------------80.4
GARST 2018------------------------------------------------------85.9
NK 29-C9---------------------------------------------------------67.6

NOTE ON BEAN PLOT,PERSONALLY DIDN'T THINK ANY LOOKED THAT GOOD, GUY RAN THE NUMBERS MORE THAN ONCE. THE BEANS WERE OF LARGE SIZE WHICH MAY HAVE HELPED. THAT AND THE PLOT WAS CUT IN HALF SINCE THE LOWER HALF OF THE FIELD WAS HIT HARD BY WATER DAMAGE. PLOT SIZE WAS SMALLER THAN WE WOULD LIKE FOR GOOD SAMPLE. TAKE IT FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.

Would like to thank the Western-reserve guys for the wagon.
