I have some pretty high counts of scn coming out of beans this year going to corn. Having the corn stalks tested as we speak and should have the results by weeks end. My question is should I chisel plow the corn stalks this fall or strip till in the spring if the count comes back high. I just established this farm in a no-till corn-bean rotation and am leary of corn-corn no-till or strip-till rotation. I am just thinking out loud and really do not want to mess up the soil structure I have built up prior to no-tilling and I have jump those no-till hurdles already. Counts are in the upper 20,000 so if these other test come back at even 70% of that there is no cyst bean option.
