| We have not been getting the consistent emergence or yields that we would like in our corn on corn acres. Tell me about this liquid 6-18-18 in furrow fertilizer. We are being told that 4-6 gal an acre may be all the total fertilizer a corn crop needs if P tests are over 15ppm and K tests over 100ppm. They say this liquid fertilizer is 100% readily available for the crop as soon as you put it down. We have always put on 40-50 units of P and 70-80 units of K in the dry form (and roughly 170 uniuts of NH3) with our striptill machine. Have we been putting down too much dry P and K all these years? Does liquid in furrow 6-18-18 really work that well? Educate me please.... | |
