1" is how deep I have always shot for.If its any consolation, the wheat sown here in central Indiana is emerging very slowly too.Neighbor's wheat can hardly be rowed and it was sown at least 2-3 weeks ago. Not much sown here.It has rained almost every 5 days all fall. Never was a fan of mudding in wheat.Quess I won't sow any this year now. Probably will get to $10 a bushel now.LoL,bob
