| Sure you can but your soil test won't remain in the high category for long. If your levels are really in the high range I don't think banding would show a lot of yield advantage. My advice would be to fertilize for crop removal and if you have a poor year take advantage of your high levels them and skip P&K that year. If your levels get too low that won't really be an option. If you aren't raising the yield you think you should then take a look at Ph levels, compaction issues, disease pressure, hybrid selection, etc.. Take a few tissue samples to make sure you aren't deficient in a micros. Good luck. | |
