Huntley Montana | The nice deal on SUGAR Beets is that most of the time they take all, the good, the bad. all.
Problem right now is the frozen beets don't keep well. Once we deliver crop insurance is off the hook, & if the beets go out of condition in the pile the COOP has to pay to dispose of them. So they are taking them as they can process them.
We might be still harvesting in Jan IF the weather allows & the beet is still good.
You eat these beets as SUGAR in your coffee.
