Hay Wilson in TX

Subject: RE: AFGC I have.

Little River, TX
For maybe 15 years I did not miss a conference. Then they got in the habit of meeting in June, the one month every hay grower is busy.
I will attend this June one in PA, mostly because I want to see some old friends who live near there and a Cousin.

What do you want to know about the meetings? Are they worth while? They have been for me. I learned a lot of basic information, that I have been able to adapt to my local situation.

They normally have one day, supposedly directed to the producer, and a day for the academic people to strut their stuff, Personally I have found the academic papers more useful than that directed to the likes of me. They also will have a day dedicated to a field trip. You may like those. Some are interesting and/or useful.

A valuable asset is they publish all the talks in a book that you can read and study later. I have a lot more published talks, Proceedings, than I have attended.

Give me a shout if you have any more questions.
